Our sock monkey fabric has a light blue background, but is neutral enough for boy or girl. I'd suggest a brown embroidery for a boy and a pink for a girl (shown here). The ribbon loops on the lovey coordinate too (pink and brown on this one for Melina; blue and brown ribbon loops for a boy).
