It's Been A While...

My last update was in March and that was right about the time that I found out I was pregnant with baby #2 and the nausea and exhaustion set in.

I worked right through it, but didn't have time to update my blog, so now I'm playing catch up. Here's a little of what I've been up to. There's more to come over the next few days.

Introducing CORDUROY dresses, john-johns and longalls!

I love corduroy for the colder months, especially the Chocolate Brown and Christmas Red that I've added to the Jackaroos collection. Both are baby wale corduroys (21 wale which is perfect for baby and toddler clothing).

I made my son longalls in each of these fabrics two years ago. They are very versatile. The brown is shown with a casual khaki onesie that matched it perfectly. The red is shown with a white collared polo shirt in one picture and with a very "Southern" big-collar monogrammed shirt, giving it two completely different looks.

White Pique Dress & John-John

I loved making this white waffle weave pique dress and john-john (both size 18-24 months). They were ordered by Paula in North Carolina for her grandkids to wear to a wedding. I'm sure they will look adorable in these classic outfits.

These are from our wedding collection, which is 15% off during the month of July, but are perfect for more than just weddings. They are ideal for beach portraits, baptisms and other special occassions too!

Paula chose white buttons, but you can also choose pastel pink, baby blue, navy blue, brown or almost any other color. You also have the option to add a ribbon and bow across the chest on the dress or a name or monogram on each.

I've been busy, busy, busy. Here are some more custom items I've been working on.

I love taking pictures of the finished results. In fact, I've been sending pictures to customers who order custom gifts to be sent directly to the recipient. I think it's only fair to let them see the gift they are giving first, even if it's only a picture. Here's how one customer responded, "Thank you for sending the picture! What an extra special touch!!!"
